• A great guitar player, Joe Bonamassa, plays Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25.

Guitar World Magazine called him "the world's biggest blues guitarist." He has 25 No. 1 Billboard blues albums to his credit.

• Modest Mouse plays two shows at Crystal Ballroom, 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 25-26.

• Presented by Oregon Symphony, it's "Bugs Bunny at the Symphony," the 30th anniversary edition and presented by Warner Bros., 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27 at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Looney Tunes classics are projected on the big screen while the Oregon Symphony plays original scores live.

• The Muze Lounge at ilani Resort Casino in Ridgefield, Washington often hosts free shows. At 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, it'll be country star Collin Raye. He has 16 No. 1 hits and been nominated five times for Country Music Association Awards male vocalist of the year.

• Corrib Theatre stages "Metaverse" by Palestinian-Irish playwright Hannah Khalil, 7:30 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 26-Dec. 18 at 21ten Theatre (2110 S.E. 10th Ave.). It's directed by Holly Griffith, the new Corrib artistic director.

The play is set in the near future and explores the fragility of human connection in virtual reality as a tech developer aches to communicate with her young daughter.

• Fear No Music presents "Legacies I: The Creative Continuum," a going-back-in-time piece, 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28 at The Old Church. Several musicians explore the works of Brahms and Mahler, and their legacy.

• Guitar virtuoso Steve Vai, promoting new studio album "Inviolate," performs at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28 at Roseland Theater. Generally considered one of the greatest guitarist of all time, he has recorded with the likes of Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth, Whitesnake and more.
