Here are some recommendations for events to consider attending in the Portland area in the next week.

• The Tribune runs a list of notable concerts each month on its website, pamplinmedia.com/portland-tribune-features. In November, it's titled "Live Music: Portland concerts November 2022." Please check it out — each and every month.

• The Portland-born rapper, singer and songwriter Amine joins Oregon Symphony for a night of unique music, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Amine, who had a Billboard hit, "Caroline," in 2016, has made four full-length albums, starred at Coachella and Lollapalooza and appeared on "The Tonight Show."

• The second Lizzo show will be 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at Moda Center.

• Disney On Ice presents "Road Trip Adventures," a family friendly, fun-filled excursion to iconic Disney destinations with Mickey Mouse and his pals. It takes to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum ice 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday, Nov. 10-11; 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12; and 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13.

• The Portland Metro RV Dealers' 64th Annual Fall RV Show will be 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 at Expo Center.

• Kumoricon, the largest anime convention in the state, will be Friday-Sunday, Nov. 11-13 at Oregon Convention Center.

• Country star Walker Hayes ("Fancy Like," "AA") takes the stage at Moda Center, 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.

• Reminder: Kristina Wong, a 2022 Pulitzer Prize finalist, performs her award-winning solo show, "Kristina Wong, Sweatshop Overlord," in a co-production of Portland Center Stage and Boom Arts, Nov. 11-Dec. 18 at The Armory. It's a take on the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and recounts Wong's adventures in gathering more than 800 volunteers, known as "The Auntie Sewing Squad," to sew masks at a time when hate crimes against Asian-Americans increased.

• The Queer Documentary Film Festival, aka QDoc, returns after a two-year absence with screenings of 15 films at Hollywood Theatre, Nov. 11-13. It's the only film festival in North America (and one of two in the world) devoted specifically to LGBTQ+ documentaries. Opening night features "For The Love Of Friends," 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.

• The show "Mortified," in which Portlanders share their shame on stage, returns to Alberta Rose Theatre, 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12.

• Inspired by the Alanis Morissette 1995 hit album, the Broadway show "Jagged Little Pill" stages at Keller Auditorium, Nov. 15-20. The album, depicting a young woman's angst about life issues and relationships, included "You Oughta Know," "Head Over Feet," "Hand In My Pocket" and "Ironic."

In the story about a perfectly imperfect American family, Heidi Blickenstaff will reprise her role from the Broadway production as Mary Jane Healy, joined by Lauren Chanel as Frankie Healy, Chris Hoch as Steve Healy and Dillon Klena as Nick Healy. The cast also includes Jade McLeod as Jo and Allison Sheppard as Bella.
