After thirty years, she returned to Oregon and chose to live at Vineyard Place, an independent living facility where her good friend Davie also resided. She lived there for 2 years until health issues caused her to move to Meadowlark Adult Care Home, where she passed away. Edna loved her family and friends and enjoyed traveling with them. She visited Europe and many places in the U.S. She is survived by her 6 children: Nancy (Hartmut), Bill (Debbie), Mike, Terry, Debbie (Ric) and Rex, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Mike, grandson Seth and brothers Adolph and Carl, and daughter-n-law, Libby. She was a loving and supportive mom and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sandy Historical Society
