Marion Carmony
A funeral service for lifetime Sandy resident, Marian Carmony will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in the chapel of Sandy Funeral Home at 10 am. A private burial will follow at Cliffside Cemetery. Marian Aletha Carmony was born on March 5, 1938 in Sandy to Leland and Frances Marsh. Marian was raised on a farm near Dodge Park and attended Bull Run Grade School and Sandy High School. On July 8, 1955 Marian was united in marriage with Glen Carmony. In 1958 they moved to the ranch on Cedar Creek and made their permanent home and raised their family. Marian began to drive school bus for Sandy Grade School in 1966 and eventually became the transportation manager for the Oregon Trail School District. Surviving are Marian's sons, Casey, Larry and Randy; daughter Nancy Richards; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Mt Hood Hospice.
