Audrey Houston Sellman
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Audrey Houston passed away peacefully at the age of 95. She resided at Rosewood Park in Hillsboro, Oregon. Audrey was born to Vincent Buckley and Emma Miller in 1927, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She moved to Oregon as a young woman where she met Robert Houston. They married in Klamath Falls then moved to Portland where they raised their four children. While in Portland, Audrey worked as an escrow officer.
Upon retirement she pursued other ventures with her husband Bob, including the operation of a T-shirt shop on Lopez Island, Washington and in Nehalem, Oregon. Later she enjoyed traveling the world. She loved to knit, walk, and make wonderful meals for her family. Most of all, she will be remembered for her positive attitude and outlook on life, as well as her gentle sense of humor.
Audrey is preceded by the death of her husband Robert. She is survived by her children Nancy, Robert (Kate), Mark (Margaret), and Matthew (Vicki); her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
