August 31, 1932 to October 12, 2022 - Just weeks after his 90th birthday, Brad passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with family by his side.

Just weeks after his 90th birthday, Brad passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with family by his side. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by Phyllis, his wife of 67 years; sons Thad (Terri), Timothy (Nancy) and Thomas (Cindy); three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Brad was born and grew up in Newton, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa, earning a degree in Art and Design and spent his early career in the Midwest. He later relocated to Lake Oswego and established Beals Construction, a successful residential remodeling business, known for combining unique design with function.

Brad lived a full and active life. He was a great friend, trusted professional and involved community member. He was devoted to his family and happiest when they were all together. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022, 2:00-5:00pm at the Lake Oswego Heritage House. Donations to place a city park bench in Brad's honor can be made at that time.
