February 22, 1930 to October 19, 2022- James passed away at the home of his son Jimmy Salisbury, at the age of 92.

James Salisbury Sr. age 92 died October 19th at the home of his son Jimmy Salisbury. Jim was born February 22,1930 to Roy and Marion Hayes Salisbury in Toledo, Oregon. He married Glenda Petri in August of 1950. They celebrated their 60th anniversary in August 2010 at the home of Phillip and Teresa Salisbury. Jim and Glenda lived in the Rockwood area before moving to Corbett, Oregon in 1965. Jim worked for Reynolds Aluminum in Troutdale for over 30 years before retiring. After retirement they enjoyed more than 10 years traveling full time in their rv before settling down in Nehalem, Oregon. Both Jim and Glenda were active in Wheeler and Nehalem communities He is survived by his sons Phillip (Teresa)Salisbury and James (Sharon) R. Salisbury Jr., 10 grandchildren,26 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Glenda, sons David and Michael, and great granddaughter Isabella Salisbury. Per his request there will be no services.
