Joseph E. Everhart
Our brother, Joseph Edward Everhart (58) unexpectedly passed away peacefully at his Lake Oswego home on October 8, 2022. Joe is survived by his rother Frank Everhart (Julie); his two sisters Mary Brinkman (John) and Susan Branam (Mike); and his nieces and nephews Katie DiPetro, Joe Brinkman, Grant Branam and Ashleigh Line. Joe was predeceased by his parents William and Georgia Everhart.
Joe was born in Portland, Oregon on January 31, 1964. His family moved to Lake Oswego in 1977 where he attended Lakeridge High School and graduated with the class of 1982. Joe was a gifted athlete and played football, basketball and ran for the track team. He was proud to be a "Pacer" and continued to have lifelong friendships with his teammates and classmates from his high school days. Joe went on to play football at Linfield for a year, but an injury prohibited him from continuing with the sport he loved. Joe was a staunch 49er fan, always loyal no matter of their win/loss record. Joe was passionate about music. He loved listening to music, studying lyrics and sharing his favorites with close friends. Joe played the guitar and recorded some of his own songs. He was a collector of rock and roll memorabilia with what seems to be an endless collection of his favorite recordings.
After college, Joe's professional interest was in the field of lumber trading. He enjoyed studying the market, buying and selling, and was fascinated by the ins and outs of the financial world.
Joe will be greatly missed by all those he has left behind. We are deeply saddened by this unexpected loss. We will carry memories of him in our hearts forever.
