WORLD OF SPEED - Halloween activities are planned at the World of Speed on Oct. 20.

Cars & Coffees

Every Saturday, 8-11 a.m., locations include: World of Speed (Wilsonville), Jantzen Beach (Portland), Cascade Station (Portland) McMinnville Walmart, Oregon City (Eighth and Main), Vancouver (136th and Mill Plain), Beaverton (Sundays, 12505 N.W. Cornell Rd.). No entry fee, all cars welcome.

World of Speed Spooktacular

Saturday, Oct. 20, noon-4 p.m., World of Speed, 27490 S.W. 95th Ave., Wilsonville. TThe first 100 kids through the door will get a prize. There will also be a costume parade, a Great Pumpkin Race, and Trunk-or-Treat bags for gathering treats and prizes throughout the galleries. All activities are free with admission. Lucky Dog Racing

Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 27-28, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days, Portland International Raceway, 1940 Victory Blvd., Portland. Seven-hour endurance races on both days, sponsored by the Lucky Dog Racing League. Free admission.

2018 Seattle Auto Show

Nov. 9-12, CenturyLink Field Event Center, 800 Occidental Ave S., Seattle. Although held near the end of each year, the annual event is considered the first auto show of the next year because it always includes so many new models. The show will also feature test drives, family-friendly activities, food carts and a wide range of affordable, luxury and exotic automobiles.

Winter Wonderland

Nov. 23-Dec. 26, Portland International Raceway, 1940 Victory Blvd., Portland. The largest holiday light show in the Pacific Northwest spans the entire racetrack and is a fundraiser for the Sunshine Division. Food collection barrels increase donations. 2019 Portland International Auto Show

Thursday-Sunday, Jan. 24-27, Oregon Convention Center, 777 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Portland. The annual show is the largest display of new cars, trucks, vans, SUVs and motorcycles in the Pacific Northwest. It is organized by the Metro Portland New Car Dealers Association and will start with its traditional Sneak Peek Preview Party charity fundraiser the night before, Jan. 23. PIR Auto Swap Meet

Thursday-Saturday, April 4-6, Portland International Raceway, 1940 Victory Blvd., Portland. Five miles of booths will fill every available space along the raceway. Vendors will offer everything from rare parts to projects. For more information, visit: portlandraceway.com

Portland Swap Meet
