Portland founder of Sports Car Magazine a longtime supporter of annual show to be held Friday, July 15, at Pacific Univeristy in Forest Grove.

CONTRIBUTED - This 1989 Spider Veloce will be displayed by Randy Bauder, of Vancouver, Wash., the car's original owner.The 110th anniversary of the founding of the legendary Alfa Romeo car company will be celebrated at the 2018 Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance at Pacific University on Sunday, July 15.

The premiere Pacific Northwest vintage car exhibition will also recognize the 30th anniversary of the founding of Sports Car Magazine by Portlander Keith Martin, a regular judge and presenter there and at similar events around the world.

The monthly magazine and its bi-monthly companion, American Car Collector, have long been respected guides for connoisseurs of historic and exotic motor vehicles. Martin, who has been involved with collector cars for more than 30 years, also has his own show, "What's My Car Worth," on the Velocity TV network.

Alfa Romeo recently returned to the American market with a lineup that includes a sports car, sedan and crossover. In addition to numerous vintage Alfa Romeos on display, the upcoming Concours will also honor Chevy trucks and feature more than 300 rare vehicles.
