The series employs acrylic paint and polyvinyl on pre-textured cotton canvas. The show is accompanied by her national Indie award-winning book, Nothing Is as It Was, published in 2011. The book is a narrative of poetry that prompts the reader to take a gentle handle on life and find sweetness in each moment. The paintings of the exhibit are used as illustrations in the book. This piece is titled Revel.
