Scappoose residents will need to make way for street sweepers Thursday and Friday.

The city of Scappoose will be sweeping streets between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, sweeping all streets on the west side of U.S. Highway 30 on Thursday and all streets on the east side on Friday.

People who live on curbed city streets are asked to move their vehicles from the street on the day that street sweeping will take place in their area.

The city asks people to not put leaves or yard debris in the street since this causes equipment problems.
