Woman has life-threatening injuries after struck by bus
A woman was seriously injured early Tuesday morning when she was struck by a TriMet bus near Northwest Third Avenue and Burnside Street.
Emergency medical responders said the woman was being treated at a local hospital for serious and life-threatening injuries. Her name has not been released.
Portland police said the collision happened at about 5:18 a.m. Oct. 9. The Police Bureau Traffic Division's Major Crash Team is investigating the crash. No one else was injured in the collision.
The investigation has closed West Burnside Street between Northwest Second and Third avenues.
