A man was hit crossing I-405 near Northwest Glisan Street on Saturday afternoon.
The name of the victim, described as an adult male, was not immediately released. He was hospitalized with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe he was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross I-405 after hs own vehicle ran out of gas. Central Precinct officers responded to a report of the accident at 5:58 p.m. on Aug. 9. The freeway was closed as medical personnel transported him to a hospital and the initial investigation was conducted.
