'Adroit Maneuvers'

By Michael Bertish and presented by Lighthouse Arts LLC, it's a timely and thought-provoking drama that portrays different views of the personal impacts of war in a study of intergenerational trauma and painful family dysfunction.

'La Cenerentola'

It's the classic Cinderella story, by Gioachino Rossini, reimagined by Portland Opera and Christopher Mattaliano for the intimate Newmark Theatre stage. Mezzo-soprano and resident artist Kate Farrar will play the title role, and rising Australian tenor Alasdair Kent makes his Portland Opera debut as Prince Ramiro.

The Washington County Museum hosts an exhibit that combines museum artifacts with art from talented tinkerers as they explore the fantastical world of the Victorian era and technology.
