Doc spotlight

"D.B. Cooper: the Real Story"

It'll be a drive to see the premiere — Cle Elum, Washington, July 14 — but the story certainly has Portland connections and appeal. Principia Media, a Grand Rapids, Michigan, film company, has put out the documentary. It claims that Walter Reca is the infamous skyjacker of the Boeing 727 Seattle-to-Portland flight on Thanksgiving eve, 1971. The movie includes never-before-seen (or heard) evidence, including an eyewitness account from a Cle Elum resident. The documentary premieres at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Putnam Centennial Center, 719 E. Third St., Cle Elum, Washington. For more:
