Mahoney, age 78, hopes to step on the gridiron and play a down or two at this year's Battle for the Bridge Oregon City vs. West Linn alumni football game, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at West Linn High School. 'The rivalry, it gets in your blood,' Mahoney says.
