Paul Mariner Izatt
Paul was born in Baker, Ore. He died of a sudden unexpected illness on January 18, 2018.
He worked for the City of Tigard in various positions starting in 1990 including the sewer department, the engineering department and ending with the position of GIS Technician. He was Shop Steward for the Union SEIU.
Paul had a generous and gregarious heart and personality. His wry sense of humor is memorable to all. He loved to bargain and scoured thrift stores and garage sales. He was an avid woodworker who created many beautiful things. He also enjoyed working with stained glass and really loved the beach.
Paul married his wife Phyllis in 1988 and moved to Tigard, OR in 1990. Phyllis, their son Kenneth, daughter Kimberlie and three small grandchildren, Jakx, Bayleigh and Scarlett survive him and all live in Tigard, OR. He leaves a sister Suzanne along with a niece, nephew, great-niece & great- nephew who all live in Milton Freewater, OR. He also leaves many friends and associates.
There will be a private service for family on February 3, 2018. The city of Tigard will hold a celebration of life for Paul on February 15, 2018 at 5:30 pm at the Public Works Auditorium, open to the public.
