The Vikings fell to Pleasant Hill in their first game of the Regis Tournament on Dec. 27, in a game that proved to be a defensive battle

For much of the Colton boys' basketball game against Pleasant Hill on Wednesday at the Regis Tournament, it was a defensive struggle.

Colton trailed 19-11 at the half as neither team could get much going, except for Billies' junior Stephen Parmenter, who had 14 points in the first half alone.

The Viks were without senior point guard Evan Rasor, which was noticeable in their offensive attack. They picked things up in the second half, but couldn't get enough going to mount a comeback in time, falling 45-37.
