The Molalla girls' soccer team is approaching unstoppable levels as they've now won their first three games of the season, all by a 7-0 margin.
After their match against North Marion last week had to be rescheduled due to smoke in the air from nearby wildfires, the Indians took on Seaside Tuesday evening and showed that they have a place among the top teams in the state.
Molalla is one of three teams at the 4A level that have not given up a goal so far this season, thanks in part to senior GK Alicia Schultz (who led the 4A class in fewest goals allowed last season), and to the Indians' defense, who rarely lets the ball stay on their side of the field for more than a few minutes each game.
The Indians' offensive firepower is heating up as well, as they're now second in the state in goals scored at 21 for the season.
Next up for the Indians is their rescheduled game against North Marion, which will take place at Wood Field in Molalla Thursday at 6 p.m.
