Sign up for Missoula Children's Theatre production
As part of the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts, Lake Oswego Parks and Rec coordinates with Missoula Children's Theatre to present a children's theatre production.
This year's production is "Blackbeard the Pirate." Auditions will be Monday, June 18, and are open to Lake Oswego youth ages 6-18. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
Arrive by 9:30 a.m. to check-in. Auditions begin at promptly at 10 a.m. and last until noon. There is no late admittance for those that arrive after 10 a.m. Auditions will be held LJHS-Bryant Campus Gymnasium and are free.
Information about rehearsal times will follow auditions. There is a fee for children selected for the Monday through Saturday theatre workshop. Performances will be held at George Rogers Park June 22 at 4 p.m. and June 23 at 10 a.m.
Kindercamp: Star Trek — Climb aboard our space shuttle to explore the solar system as we take a trip into space. Create a space shuttle, play space games and run an astronaut obstacle course. For ages 4-6, 9:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, June 25-29, George Rogers Park, $92.
Kindercamp: Commotion in the Ocean — Discover the ocean wonders from jelly fish to sharks and coral reefs. Put on your snorkeling masks and explore shells, play octopus tag and create an ocean in a bottle. For ages 4-6, 9:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, July 2-6 (No camp July 4), George Rogers Park, $74.
Mini-Ballerinas — An introduction to ballet class with play breaks incorporated. Parents encouraged to observe class quietly or drop their child off. For ages 3-5, 9:45 a.m.-10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 16-July 14, Adult Community Center, $53.
Tiny Boppers — Dancers sing and move along to music to work on motor coordination, rhythm, strength and self-confidence. Parents encouraged to observe or participate. For ages 1-3, 9 a.m.-9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 16-July 14, Adult Community Center, $33.
Red Cross First Aid Training
Wilderness First Aid — This course provides one day of indoor education and one day of outdoor training. Learn first aid principles and skills to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that don't have immediate medical services. Girls and Boys Lacrosse Camps
Beginners — Camps are taught by Lacrosse Northwest staff. For players with less than two years of experience. Boys ages 8-14, 9 a.m.-noon, Monday through Thursday, June 18-21, Hazelia Field, $109. Girls ages 8-14, 9 a.m.-noon, Monday through Thursday, June 25-28, Hazelia Field, $109.

Skyhawks Sports Camps
Explore sports with an emphasis on fun and fundamentals. Young sports enthusiasts take their first steps into athletics. Sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, flag football, dodgeball, etc. There is no pressure, just lots of fun. Skyhawks summer sports camps start in June.
