This week features three projects in the works: Heartline, Vista Pearl and 8155 N.E. Air Cargo Rd.

Heartline

1250 N.W. Johnson St.PAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: JULES ROGERS - Heartline is designed to be transit-oriented and connects Northwest Kearney and Johnson streets with a center courtyard between the two buildings.

This project is two buildings. One is slated to be a wood-framed, five-floor office building fronting along Northwest 12th Avenue, and the other a 15-floor concrete residential building fronting along the same road. The high-rise plans to include upwards of 200 market-rate apartments. Heartline offers 10,535 divisible square feet of retail and restaurant space fronting 13th Avenue and Kearney Street, and is expecting an early 2018 completion.

Vista Pearl

Overlooking Fields Park, Vista Pearl (formerly Block 20) is a 21-floor tower with plans that include 149 residential condos with two small retail spaces along Northwest 12th and Pettygrove Street. Plans include 168 parking spaces and 229 bike parking spaces in the 354,400 square foot development.

Its completion date is expected to be in the autumn of 2018.

8181 N.E. Air Cargo Rd.

Owner: Port of PortlandPAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: JOSEPH GALLIVAN - West of the Ikea shopping center, this new development is near a Hilton, a Hampton and a Sheraton hotels.

Contractor: Hoffman Construction

This development near PDX is planned to be a Shell station and has space for a new 7-11 store. An attached car wash is included in the 3,000 square foot store plans with a sales area, back room, electrical room, bottle room, two bathrooms, freezer, refrigerator and cooler vault. Parking and landscaping is included in the plans. The original proposal included three new drive accesses to the site, a drive-through coffee stand and two restaurant developments.
